Our Pet Policy

Our General Rules and Regulations for pets reads as follows relative to pets:

Except for one dog or one cat owned by an initial purchaser of a lot or unit at the time of the initial (first) purchaser entered into a contract for purchase of a unit, no animal or replacement animal shall be allowed without prior written Board approval. You must obtain written approval first before acquiring a pet. All pets must be registered with the Association. Click here to download an application form.

  • Dogs and cats must be leashed when outside.

  • Dogs cannot exceed the adult (full-grown) weight of 35 pounds.

  • Prolonged barking should be controlled by taking the dog inside.

  • The owner of any such animal must immediately cleanup after his/her cat or dog.

  • Under no circumstances will animals be allowed to roam free or to disturb the residents of the neighboring units.

 

Violation of the above pet rules and regulations will result in a fine and/or legal action against the actual unit owner. That legal action may require a resident to remove his/her pet from his/her unit.
